Dr. A.V.V. Siva Prasad is currently working as Head of the Department of MBA, Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology, Khammam. Dr. Prasad pursued his Doctoral Programme from JNTU, Kakinada and he is the first Ph.D degree awarded from School of Management Studies, JNTU, Kakinada. He pursued his M.Phil from Madhurai Kamaraj University and MBA from Acharya Nagarjuna University. He is the University ranker and class topper in his MBA programme. He has 22 years of teaching experience in Management education both in India and abroad. He is a prolific writer and researcher. About Department
The department of MBA was established during the year 2007-2008 with the intake of 60 Students. The two year programme is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The intake has been increased from 60 to 120 in the year 2014.
The Department committed itself to improve academic excellence towards industrial standards with the state of art infrastructure. The department dedicated to impart need based and value based management education to develop talented managers to face future global challenges and align to today’s societal needs. The entire infrastructure at the campus supports the student to groom as future corporate leaders by providing all support systems to learn at prodigious rate.
The department nurture the desire to excel in performance without compromising on integrity, honesty and fairness through high-impact pedagogical methods. It helps the students to develop themselves into top-quality decision makers through conceptual foundations, interpersonal skills and social skills. The students learn to think through managerial issues and are able to make decisions in complex, less-structured situations in holistic and multi-disciplinary perspectives to generate and evaluate alternatives and arrive at innovative solutions.
