Department of Master of Computer Applications

In the year 2006-07, AICTE has approved starting of M.C.A course in Swarna Bharathi Institute Of Science and Technology with an intake of 60. The M.C.A course in SBIT is affiliated to JNTU .The department of M.C.A started functioning from September 2006 with 60 in SBIT. Total number of students in M.C.A are 180 . Students of M.C.A are well disciplined and innovative in nature. The department was established with an ambition to prepare an excellent human resource in well trained and suitable for the requirements of IT and ITES industries.

        The department provides high Quality curriculum with an excellent infrastructure and state-of-the-art laboratories. The department provides the students quality education and gives guidance to improve their professional excellence including soft skills.

        The Department focuses on not only on IT but also gives training in SOFT-SKILLS which was conducted by INFOSYS. Additional inputs will be given in view of CAMPUS CONNECT, JKC and other programs. To undertake on-line projects and training for students we have tie-ups with various MNCs.
