1.            Our department has taken up technical event under the name Techno Trentz-10.

2.            We have also conducted intra departmental event, in which we have activities like quiz, JAM, adds (Technical), cultural activities.

3.            Students are made to take up mini projects from 2^nd year level to enhance their creative skills and make them realize the various applications of subjects they learn during engineering course.

4.            Our department also organizes National level paper presentation event as a part of Talent@SBIT organized every year in our college.

5.            Regular Faculty Development Programs had been conducted by our department, which helps faculty to improve their teaching and technical skills.

6.            The Department has tie up with SREE SOFT SKILLS, to organize workshops exclusively to improve communication skills of students.

7.            We take our students every year for Industrial visits to provide them Industrial Exposure and make them realize the job opportunities they may have.

8.            We send our faculty to attend workshops on various evolving technologies whenever there is an opportunity.

9.            To stress the impotence of social & human value, we motivate our students to organize and participate in blood donation camps, NSS & etc.

10.         Department encourages students to participate in events organized various  Colleges at  state and national level, which will make them, realize their level in  the competition they may face in future.

11.         Final year students of E.C.E department have designed, tested and installed

12.         HAM RADIO in the department in the month of April 2010.

13.         Third year students of E.C.E  department have designed ,tested and installed   

“wireless Audio-Video  Sender (Low Power TV Transmitter)“ in the department  in the month of June 2010.

14.         Department has organized an event named ”SWETCHA” on 30th March’2010 in which the events like Technical Ads, Quiz, JAM  and cultural activities were

15.         Conducted .This programme was a grand success. In the Programme   “SWETCHA” the LOGO of ECE department designed by the students of ECE  was unveiled.

 

16.       A  National-Level technical Symposium SCINTILLA-2KX was held on 10-10-2010 .In this event about 50 colleges from various Universities have participated .The events conducted at this Technical Symposium are PAPER PRESENTATION, SHORT FILM, IDEA PRESENTATION,     QUIZ and  POSTER PRESENTATION.

 17.        DEPARTMENTAL TECHNICAL SYSMPOSIUM “SWETHCA” was held on 20-02-2010 in which events like Paper Presentation, Technical Quiz and Short films were conducted.
