The
Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was
established in the year 2003 with an intake of 60. Every year
thereafter, the Department offers a 4 year degree programme of
Bachelor of Technology in ECE. Intake has been increased to
120 from the academic year 2006-2007 onwards.
There
are three components for Education: Lecturers, Laboratory and
Library. In quality content generation content can be
generated in many ways. The first one is assimilation of the
subject by an expert teacher. The faculty members present in a
unique and innovative way to make the content appealing and
easily understandable to the students. Dept is supported by
well qualified and experienced faculty members.
The
second form of content, Laboratories could be an self learning
method. In this regard, the dept is providing the following
labs as per the norms of JNTU syllabus – Microprocessors
Lab, Electronic Devices & Circuits Lab, Electronic
Circuits Lab, Pulse & Digital Circuits Lab, Linear
Integrated Circuits Lab, Digital Communications Lab, Linear
& Digital ICs Lab.
The
Dept has established E-CADC (Electronic- Computer Aided
Laboratory). VHDL Software will be provided to enable
students to design them IC Laboratory also provides practical
exposure to the students abut IC designing.
The
third form of content, Library may be from various books Dept
is supported by the central library with required number of
volumes of books, national & international journals.
I
congratulate the faculty members for shaping the young minds.
The student Counselor (faculty) to know how about the academic
and personal problems of the students, a constant observation
and counseling of the students is done within the department.
Day today performance in regard with attendance and mid marks
of the students is dynamically updated in our college
INTRANET. To get a better industrial exposure, the dept
conducts industrial tours for the students of ECE.
We
the faculty have Nobility in thinking, since the department
has entered into its 3rd Year-II semester of BTech course, the
department is planning through the Placement Cell of the
college which entered into MOU with CMC to get better
